The Proposal Trailer
The Proposal starring Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock brings the comedic story of "a pushy boss (Bullock) (that) forces her young assistant (Reynolds) to marry her in order to keep her Visa status in the U.S. and avoid deportation to Canada" (IMDB) to theaters in June 2009.

Leverage: new TV series on TNT
TNT describes Leverage as a series that "follows a team of thieves, hackers and grifters who act as modern-day Robin Hoods, taking revenge against those who use power and wealth to victimize others." That is definitely true, but it's not the reason to watch the show. Watch it because it's a show that blends humor and action in a way that's somewhere between Ocean's Eleven and The Italian Job. (A lot of thematic music in the show sounds strangely similar to the music used in the Oceans films.) The actors, Oscar Winner Timothy Hutton and crew, bring the goods and fill the show with some great moments.
New Episode on Tuesday 10/9c

"Overprotected (Darkchild remix)" by Britney Spears
Sure Britney's making a comeback, but if you want to hear a really hot Britney song, check out "Overprotected (the Darkchild remix)". No, it's not a new song, it's just awesome. You'll thank me later.
Even this version's music video is better:

I am so happy Brandy is back! I love her and have missed her. And you know the track is tight when Rodney Jerkins aka Darkchild is the producer.

"Get Up" by 50 cent
"Get Up" is 50's hot new single. I love the track. 50's bringing his same lyrical style. The music and beat is simple, but in a really good way.

Kitchen Confidential: pilot
A tasty and quite hilarious sitcom that takes place in an upscale NY restaurant. Great acting from Bradley Cooper (Alias, Wedding Crashers, Failure To Launch, etc), John Cho (Harold & Kumar), Jaime King (Sin City), Frank Langella (Lolita, Superman Returns), John Francis Daley (Freaks And Geeks, Waiting..., Bones), and so many others worth mentioning add to a really well rounded and diverse cast. Watch the entire first (and sadly, only) season on Hulu.

Covers that might make me like Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers (because I totally never liked any of their songs before)
If you're a fan of Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers, you'll probably enjoy these videos, but if you're not that into either of those musical phenomena, hearing/seeing other artists perform their hits might make you realize that some of their songs are actually pretty good . Ernie Halter has great covers of "See You Again" by Hannah Montana (aka Miley Cyrus) and of "When You Look Me In The Eyes" by the Jonas Brothers. Gabe Bondoc has a great cover of "Burnin' Up" by the Jonas Brothers. Both of these guys have other great covers and original work.

Oakley Proven Snow Dual Lens Goggles
If you're looking to upgrade your ski goggles, check out Oakley's Proven goggles. The angular styling gives them an appealing aggressive look. I also really like the matte color choices (the above pair is in matte black). Overall these goggles look really solid, and at $50 dollars, seem like a great deal too. Check out what Acquire had to say here.
- Dual Lens System: The two lens layers are separated by a thin layer of air, which creates a thermal shield that prevents fog buildup.
- LEXAN® lens: The LEXAN® lens is made of a highly durable polycarbonate resin thermoplastic that is stronger and more impact resistant than glass and plexiglass. It's the same stuff that the guys on MythBusters use to protect themselves from explosions.
- Anti-Fog Treatment: The anti-fog treatment prevents water from condensing on the lens. Basically the anti-fog treatment works by minimizing the surface tension of the lens, which makes moisture on the lens spread to cover a larger surface area (i.e. a non-scattering film of water) instead of forming compact droplets (i.e. fog). (Read about wetting if you want to know more). Cool fact: anti-fog agents were initially developed by NASA for space helmet visors and aircraft windshields. By the way, avoid touching your lenses or you might wipe the anti-fog treatment off.
- Venting: let's heat and vapor out (from between your face and the inside of the goggles). Resulting in more comfort and less fog (and less sweat).

Ugg Men's Classic Short Boot
For the utmost comfort, man up and get the men's Ugg classic short boot. Don't be deceived by it's luxurious looks, this boot can handle cold and snowy conditions like a pro. Surprisingly, it also handles a range of temperatures quite well with the sheepskin liner's natural ability to wick moisture away, which keeps your feet dry and comfortable. $130. Tip: buy them a size down than you normally would.

Ugg Men's Beacon Boot
While most men might associate Ugg with women's boots, this would be a mistake. The Beacon is one bad ass boot, not to mention it's very handsome. It's durable, warm, and yes it is extremely cozy. But don't get me wrong, your feet will feel like superheroes with a force field of invincibility (cozily) surrounding and protecting them. Don't miss out. $180. And get them in obsidian (the color shown above), not after dark (black).

Arc'Teryx Alpha SL Pullover
I'm a huge fan of pullover shells! The Arc'Teryx Alpha SL Pullover is super light at only 322 grams (that's about 0.7 lbs), fully storm proof (the lack of a full length zipper in the front is your friend in torrential downpours), while the pit zips and front zipper offer great ventilation. Plus the whole thing crams into it's own pocket. $250.
